Auto blogging is a term we use for automatically creating content for blogs as opposed to manually writing every post. These programs can pull content from RSS feeds, other blogs, and even articles and turn it into a new post and/or excerpt for your blog. It will include a link for the original source as well. This is good for the other person in that they get an additional backlink and exposure from your blog when you use their piece. Are you still confused because you have heard, or assumed some bad things about this? Let me clarify for you.
Splogging
Spam blogs or splogs is in a sense spam because they are spamming the search engines to build backlinks and drive traffic. Some of them will even be spreading malware as well. This will quickly get you blacklisted with the search engines and essentially get you nowhere.
Scrappers
Scraping is similar to auto blogging in the sense that they both use content from other web sites. Scraping differs in that it uses a large amount of content from targeted sites and is usually then rewritten to obscure the original content. This will not include a link for the original source giving them no credit at all. In my opinion this is playing dirty. If you are going to use someone else's content at least have the integrity to give them the credit for writing it. If you cannot do that you should not be using it. Unfortunately, I cannot stop this type of thing, only discourage it.
I hate being misled and mistreated, and I especially hate wasting my money on stupid forums. I know that you will enjoy reading an interesting, revealing review on the following autoblogging forum where I am a member. Use this link to read it; My Affiliate Apprentice.
